My guess would be a '39, but a serial or engine number would help.

Will get try to get the serial/engine number soon..... thanks...!!
Where is the engine number located,,,?0 -
Look on the passenger side front doorpost.0

Dont you mean the drivers side front doorpost. Or does it all depend on the latitude. Just Joshing. LOL0

Looks like that's the eight cylinder engine, which would make it more desirable (to some) than a 112 or Hudson Six.0

Would not put my house on it, but, the guards could even be 1940, it is hard to tell from that angle, but don't seem to curve as much as '39.
40's are fairly flat where they bolt to the grill , as is '42-'46-47where '39 have more curve in them , '39 & '40 have the same shape headlamp rim.
I also think the '39 Guards ( fenders) have more of a curve above the headlamp rim ,were the '40's have a lot less shape above the headlamps..0 -
The headlights and also the flair of the running boards in front (where they meet the rear of the front fenders) inclines me to say '39.0

That car is a 1939 Hudson series 95 Country Club Eight convertible . If it has the long convertible top extending well over the rear wheels it is the Brougham. If it has the shorter top it is the convertible coupe.
In my opinion, a desirable car of great beauty, well worth saving. Paul.0 -
