Hudson Radio Resource

Hello Hudsonites,

:D I have found an interesting resource for radio repair. There is a fellow named Bob Comtois out of Chelmsford, Massachusetts. He is a true old car enthusiast. He will rebuild all radios with modern capacitors etc. He will replace all tubes necessary and replace the vibrator. Now here is the twist. He will put a jack into the radio that will allow for a personal CD player FM receiver to be played through the radio. He stands by is work and is very honest to deal with. I bought a radio from him for my 1956 Lincoln Premiere and it works beautifully.

I'd like to have some tunes in my Wasp.

I thought about having my radio redone then I was told it would cost about $400.00. I thought that was a bit steep considering almost all AM stations in So Cal are spanish now which I don't understand. So I stumbled across an original Hudson radio delete plate and now with my soon to be highly modified and running 308, I will be listening to that full time :)

Steve's a nice guy but he quoted me more than that and that's fine, I got the radio delete plate now and I think it is cool. I just bring along my little boom box if I want to listen to tunes.
