Hunting for a side view mirror for my 49 c8

I'm looking for a a match for my side view mirrors on my 49 c8. The drivers side recently broke off and all thats left is the base. The mirror looks like it was a period correct aftermarket mirror. The base is longer than the mirrors that I bought as replacement 's at Doc's meet . That leaves me with the dilema off having sheet metal screw holes if I go with my replacements and unneeded body and paint work . Does anyone have any idea's . I'll try to take a few photo's and post them ... thnks...

    I bought mine from K-Gap, and looks and works fine on the '50 c6! I think Bill Albright has them also, so with both venders, they got you covered.

    YES HAVE REPLACEMENT MIRRORS AT 30 EA WITH A FIVE INCH BASE, AND ALSO A LOT OR OLD TAKEOFFS THAST MIGHT MATCH YOURS, IF Ii COULD SEE A PICTURE OF YOURS, BILL ALBRIGHT

    Bill, I measured the base and its 7.5 inches... Do you have anything like that ?
