4 cyl Essex differential

I am sure it is futile to ask, but does anyone have a four cylinder Essex differential for sale, or know of anyone that might have one?

  • Ask and you will receive. Try Leonard Briggs in Cal. He is listed in the HET Roster. He can make new gears if needed . What do you need? I restored a 1919 2 years ago that just completed a 10,000 mile rally from Peking to Paris.
  • Another comment. As i remember that is a Timkin rear, used in lots of cars in that era including the small Packard. Check with Geoff Clark on what fits as I believe any Essex up to 28 will work. Just check the ratio
