    Rick, did you notice that the bed on that truck did not line up quite right with the rear wheels. I beleive it must be from a later model Hudson truck - like maybe a 1940 with a slightly longer wheelbase.

    A pretty rare rig, but sure a stretch to go 5 grand in that condition, IMHO.

    Just make him a fair offer. You never know what will happen when real money hits the table. Let him have a hissy fit but in my experience cash talks and the other stuff walks.

    I like the 2dr Jet. I'd probably just sell the 4 door and rod the 2door....might make a fun little gasser, or at least, a cool sleeper!

    That pair of Jets was on eBay this past month. I want to say the high bid was around $600.00, but reserve was not met.

    I watch eBay religiously for Jets. :) Everytime I find one (or a set in these cases), I e-mail my husband with a comment along the lines of... "You know, if you'd let me start picking up these Jets, we could have a museum in no time." Or, "I could think of a good home for this orphan Jet." Or, "Are you sure you don't want his and her Jets?" LOL (I'm the Hudson nut here. If he had his way, there'd also be a Delorean, a '59 Cadillac hearse, and a convertible '57 Bel Air parked in the garage.)
