Another one hits the road.
Got the 53 7C Hornet out on the road for the first time since 1969. I have had the beast for 23 years and most of that time it has been in pieces. I do want to thank Bill and the folks on this site as I have posed many a question. The last had to do with an engine Knock that turned out the be the dampner. Many thanks. She runs great, has a Clifford stroker and a Steve E radio so I can listen to AM in style. I drove it to work today and to the alingment shop and the comments were overwhelming. Most though I would never get it together the others knew about Hudson from the movie cars. Now to drive the tires off it. From what I can tell it wants to cruse. So this weekend the freeway. So now I have a cruser the 53 Hornet, the around town driver the 46 truck, and next is to figure out where the 37 Hudson want to run.
