Hello folks,

I have ordered new rear springs to my Hudson and the company wants to know the distans between the center of the bolts down to the spring where the rear axle is fitted when the car is unloaded. Can someone help me with this measurement?

    Width 2"; 8 leaves, Short end 23-29/32"; Long end 30-25/32", Free arch 8-3/8"

    Thank you Geoff C There was only seven leaves on my car. What difference will that make? Softer??

    It may depend on what model the car was coupe, roadster, sedan etc. If a heavy car, the road height will be affected.
