Anyone know who this is ?
While cruising down I-5 just north of Seattle last thursday, on a trip to Boeing field with a couple pilot friends, I was amazed to see up ahead in traffic what appeared to be the back end of a '54 Hornet convertible.
Sure enough, as we got closer it was indeed a '54 Hornet, and am curious as to who might own this car? Both gentlemen in the car had white or grey hair, and maybe matching beards too ( I was gawking at the car ).
I snapped a couple pics as we jockyed for a good look and I'll try to post them here.
Anyone recognize the car ??

Good to know this one's anchored down as part of the great Hudson club, Bill.
It'd be neat to imagine there's a Hornet convertible still out there though, somewhere, driving around "undiscovered" yet,
but that'd be some dream -- wouldn't it !!
Too many eagle-eyed Hudsonites out there !! Come to think of it -- I guess that'd be me too !!

Yes - this is Warren Metzgers 54 Hornet Convertible with Dave Keister at the wheel and Warren riding shotgun. Warren and his son drove the car to the Reno National event and it was one of five or six 1954 Convertibles attending, three of which were from the NW Chapter. Just over a year ago I overhauled the engine in Warrens Convertible. Although Warren no longer drives due to failing eye sight, he still enjoys trips in the car with a friend or family member dehind the wheel. I am proud to be involved in keeping another Hudson on the road and helping another club member enjoy his hobby.
Happy Hudsoning to all0
