To answer the question for everybody here, I just got a listing from the club membership chair last month. There are (8) 40s listed, most without SNs and (18) 41s listed, about half with SNs listed. There are about 250 Pickups listed total of all years. There is a C, which started life as a cab/chassis probably and a couple of impossible SNs. One of these people has an email so I will try to get the correct SN. Interestingly neither my 46 or 47 truck is listed. It doesn't list your 46 (Are you a new member?) or my friend's 40 either, so there are some errors I am trying to get corrected before the first of the year when the new roster will be published and I can get a new listing.
To answer your question, It appears that there are only 1 or 2 short wheelbase 41s existing with HET people. Of course, there may be a few owned by people who are not in the HET club, and unless I stumble on one of these I have no way of knowing they exist.
Hey guys, please make sure your SNs are listed with Charlotte please. It makes it difficult to serve you all without good information.
Thanks.

thanks!going on web observations, HET meet was a black 1/2 ton, restorable autos site has a 1/2 ton, another HET meet had a maroon 1/2 ton. on a hudson forum 1/2 ton in california (yellow one), another HET meet an Idaho blue w/black fenders 1/2 ton, HET forum member green 1/2 ton next to tan 47 out west. thats 6 half ton trucks I know of. yet only yellow restored 3/4 ton at Kruse auction, and the one I bought, making two 3/4 tons. that are all the 1941 trucks I can find on web. by your serial number registrations, and trucks on the web, I would almost have to say that the numbers of 1941 model 10 and model 18 bigboy pickups are probably equal. thanks again for the input, I'll start looking for that 40 model 40 1/2 ton!!0
