Turn Signal wiring question

I am trying to wire the turn signals on my '51 Hornet and am using a later model six wire unit. I don't have the schematic for this type of unit and it is not in the '52 owner's manual that I have. Does anyone know what goes where? Wire colors are red, brown, blue, orange, yellow and green. HELP!

7XPacemaker- the Hornets and Commodores for '51 used a separate bulb for the rear turn signal, freeing up the stop light element in the other for brake use only. So was not necessary wire through the stoplight switch in order to have turn signals that would work when the brakes were on. I simply ran the red wire from the signal switch into the junction box, but did not further the connection. Works fine. Don't know if that is the case with Pacemakers, they may have used a single bulb with the smaller light fixtures. Walt-LA0

there is room for two bulbs in the pacemaker lights and i suggest that you use both of them- it is a major improvement. there should be one socket that holds a twin filament and one that holds a single. i connected the single to the brake/turn wire for brighter lighting during the day. since the tail lights are generally used as its getting dark, i am happy to use just the one bulb for them in the twin filament socket0

This is exactly what I did with my 50 Pacemaker. Since I had to replace the After market signal unit on the column, I went with a simpler wiring plan, added the extra light in the back and did not use the brake switch.0 -
can you see the droplets of sweat on Kens schematic? Their mine trying to figure out for days on end, what the guy was thinking when he put all the bullets back years ago, in the wrong positions in the junction block. But with a lotta luck and Kens schematic, I now have a 54 Hornet cpe that drives and "has turn signals" brake lights, running lights, parking lights, license plate light, and the list goes on and on. lol.0
