Sunday at the Hagley Car Show
This last Sunday I took the C8 to the Hagley Museum Annual Car show. Over 600 cars participated. It is a stunning event with all years parked in the lush DuPont Powder Mill and DuPont original home estate near Wilmington DE. Only 2 Hudson products there, and would you know both '50s, my C8 and a C6 Convertible. If you get the chance it is a worthwhile day to spend, oh and no judging!
It is also great to have young kids, 13 and younger tell their parents that this is a real Hudson! I usually let the kids sit in the driver seat and check it out. One mother said they may joint HET from seeing my car and realizing that it is not just a cartoon car.
Here we are cruising onto the museum grounds.

Thanks guys. Actually except for the front fenders the paint is the original Hudson paint! It looks great from 10ft but shows its age when you get close. However, it did polish up nice when compounded. People are surprised when I tell them it is original. It helps it sat in a garage for 40 years out of the weather. The interior is mostly original also with some replating here and there.0
