As many of you know, people sometimes list their Hudsons and parts on "ebay" (in the Transportation section) rather than the far more appropriate "ebay motors". This '47 Brougham is a good example. If you're used to browsing ebay motors only, you wouldn't have seen this. It's in sound original condition and doesn't have a reserve, so I think that it might be of significant interest.

It seems that someone made him an offer he couldn't refuse. It apparently had a "But it Now" when it was first listed, but that disappeared after the first bid. Did one of us buy it?
  • I watched this one from the beginning it did not have a BIN on it at the beginning. It was listed with opening bid of .99 cents which I thought odd but put down to seller not knowing ebay. Yesterday it was at almost $1100 someone must have put in an offer they thought was good enough.
  • Never saw the BIN. Seller probably pulled the auction after realizing he didn't set a reserve.
  • maybe it was that member that got hit in his at a car show. looked like the same model.
  • If many ebay sellers can't even bother to wash dirt off of a hubcap before listing it, it's no surprise to me when I see a seller asking big bucks for a car piled with junk or sunk in the mud. After all, if something is old it has to be priceless. To bad people don't value our elderly in the same way.
  • 7 grand HA! dream on.

Wow! If I'd have any idea in the beginning, I wouldn't have wasted anyone's time or eyesight! I'm sorry to say it, but geez some people are dumb.
