Hi all,

:o Just receive the new exhaust for my '53 SuperWasp from Waldron Exhaust and I must say it is absolutely perfect. It came like the origininal with the additional resonator. All pipes with the correct bends. The correct overall length. I couldn't be more happy. I recommend the staff at Waldron to anybody. Caring, courteous, and careful you get the right stuff. All I can say is this is how it should be.

On another note, I am looking to have original fuel lines reproduced for the car. The ones on it are full of muck. Any resources out there that can reproduce with the correct bends?

  • I used Waldron for several Dual exhaust sets for Oldsmobiles and they were great to deal with. I ordered and payed for them at Carlisle and they'd arrive about two weeks later.
  • For fuel lines, you could try someone like inlinetube.com or just buy the tubing, fittings and tubing bender at your local auto parts store and do it yourself. It's not that difficult.

I had to heat and tweak the headpipe that I got from them with a little heat. Other than that, It was a good fit.

I had Classic Tube do all the fuel and brake line on my 53 in SS. Every bend like to orginial. They even did the heater pipe from the water pump back in SS. That was a little different because they could not get the sharp bend out of the pump. Give them a call.....no I don't recal the number, sorry. They can bend what ever you like in what ever you like. The only problem was the flare on one brake line had a little ridge. Smoothed that out and everything went back together without leaks.
