1949 4 door commodore six 145 badges ?

Hi ,

Does anyone know what the H145 badges mean that are on the interior front doors ? The history of hudson book says the Commodore six was 121 hp. If anyone can help with the info that would be great.

    The H145's are off a hornet. They had 145 HP when introduced in 1951.

    Thanks for the info. I bought this car from Texas to Australia everything else is commodore ,interior and serial number. However these badges threw me I guess someone just liked them and added them to the car.

    Someone may have instaled a 308 engine in this 49.

    The 308 would have a double horizontal web about 2 inches apart along the bottom sides of the block, whereas the 262 would only have a single web.
