Just practicing posting a pic. If anyone wants one of these mascots, please contact me direct, as the mold is at the foundry right now.

  • Welcome back Geoff, I hope you enjoyed your holidays in Australia. It was great meeting your at Toowoomba and thanks for your tips regarding my step fathers (Keith Kellam) 28 Essex that you drove I think was on the Thursday of the rally. Keith will do that steering column adjustment and fix up that choke cable. It was a joy meeting you and I hope to see you again in the near future. Note that I put some rally photos and the forum 2 weeks ago so go and have a peek at them.

Sorry, I don't know, Trevor, but if we can find a good sample we can get a mold made and put them on the list of castings we can get done. Molds I have so far are for '28 H & E window winders and door pulls, '29 H & E window winders, robe rail brackets (pine cone design), '29 H custom bodies (rose pattern) interior door handles, window winders, radiator cap, door pulls. '28 Essex rad caps as per pic, 12-sided rad cap for '29 H & E. '28-'29 H & E column clamps. these are individually made-to-order. No discount for bulk quantities unfortunately, as it is not a mass-producing facility.

Steve, we had a great time in Oz, and enjoyed meeting all the H.E.T. folk and driving and riding in their cars. Great bunch of people, great range of cars from 1919 H & E, thru to the Rambler convertibles etc. Best wishes,

    Geoff.
