I like that truck much more than the truck on e-bay. This was a good find, I don't know how much you paid for this truck but at least with this truck you know what you are starting with and everything I see is something that can be fixed or replaced. Nothing is hidden by bondo and a cheap paint job.

Cool truck Hoopity. It looks like a good find. This one was also on Ebay right? It looks familiar.
How close is it to running condition, or does that still need to be determined?

Thanks guys, I need all the help I can get. This old truck is a dream (fantasy) come true./ I have looked at what frame I can see and it looks supprisingly good. The engine bars over easily. I have put a good ammount of Marvel Mystery Oil in each cyl, as it waits for the next move the rings might as well loosen their grip...
Yes, I bought this truck on Ebay a couple weeks ago. I have been watching the old trucks a while. This truck falls within my abilities and tooling to complete. I will be begging for a l/s fender and grill bars... so get ready.
The drivers side vent wing glass is cracked, and the shifter has been moved to the floor. The center of the dash has had 2 gauges installed. The bed steel seperators are rotted, as the wood.
I also need to get 2 of the hub cap retainers from an old wheel. My wheels look good, but I have 2 that will need repair.
i hope you guys don't mind, but I also have a 67 Charger that I bought in worse shape than this PU, and i do all ALL, of my own work. My Charger has won several local shows and has been featured in the Kansas City Star! I just want you guys to know that i know a little about what I have gotten into.
Thanks again, please don't hesitate to set me straight when I nees it.

Hoopity; cool truck, this is a great group that will always step up and help where they can. I had gotten away from working on cars for years but in the sixties and seventies this was all I did. It's all coming back to me but it is of great help to be able to ask a question and get all the help that this group offers. For all I think I know there are a lot more experienced minds to go to just to make sure I'm on the right path. I can do all the hands on stuff but there are a lot of things about Hudsons I need to learn and this is the place I learn the most.
