46-47 Grill Stainless
I was talking on the phone with someone from the forum that had the stainless. I thought it was Glen... but he has not answered. I need the complete set of stainless for the grill, a glove box door with the clock, or the correct block off. My glass is broken and the clock is missing. About all the rest of the truck is there, just rusty. I got the front wheels freed up. The rear wheels powder coated and put on.
Little steps, I think the headlight bezels are too pitted th be replated. I need to find the ranger pu post about what seat works in the 47 pu. I'm trying to keep the faith...

Smiths Hot Rod glass had new pick up glass on e-bay a few months back. Apparently they have the measurments for all of the glass for your truck. I haven't used them yet, but plan to order my truck window from them.

Don't think it was me, but I may be buying a 47 4dr sedan in December to add a little shine to my old truck. Unless it's nice I will probably part it out. Or if you know what you need and what it's worth, let me know and I may work a little harder to get it bought. Didn't get your message.

It may have been me you were thinking of, I did email you with this info. I have most grill stainless to suit '46/7 Hudson New Old stock. I am in Australia.

Hello,
I have installed a mid 80's Chevy S10 bench seat into my '47 Pickup. It practically fit right onto the original wood brackets which I utilized but needed to be raised ip slightly so I ran longer bolts down thru the frame.
I also installed the S10 seat belts & shoulder harness by attaching the upper harness 'bolt' just past the door frame installing a re-inforcing brkt inside a double panel near the top.
