DriveMaster value added

Can someone tell me what a functioning DriveMaster unit adds to the value of a 1946 Commodore Club Coupe Series 54 in Number 2 condition headed toward Number 1?
Thank you,

So few of them function, that there's no way to set up a "standard value"! My guess is that if it's working, great....but don't spend hundreds of dollars to put one together, because you probably won't raise the value that much!0

They are great when they work, as mine does, but I find in today's traffic you get very little use out of it.0

If the Drive Master was originally on the car and you're taking it to #1 condition, you can't achieve that unless you restore it to working condition.0

I doubt it will add any value to the price to the car, regardless if it is working, or not, and if the car is a number one or two...
I personally feel twin H add a little value, to any stepdown, just because you figure you sink about $500-$1000 into the set-up, I would say it is fair to say that overall, it adds maybe $500 overall, if the car is a 3 to a 1.
maybe my reasoning is off here a bit, but twin H seems to be a more desireable option than drivemaster, or supermatic....
I would also think that hydramatic is better than stick, but stick OD is better than stick, and any other transmission choices fall after stick OD, but before straight stick.
time for a poll or two....0 -

Even if it doesn't work,It is worth the conversation that it creates-EVERYTIME!!!! Other Marques don't usually have some unique option on them and thus makes the Hudsons more of a conversation!!!:)0 -
Your right on with that statement clutch guy, every time I open my bonnet (hood) people ask "Whats that big cylinder there for ?" then you go on to explain the vacuum clutch and then the question "What are the bottles on the firewall for "?
I respond by saying. 1 bottle for Rum-1 bottle for whisky-the other for what ever you wish to put in it.0
