  • Dan, The prices seem a bit steep.
  • I hope those are steep as I think I may need to replace my carbs.

Dan And Harry I Have The Kits To Rebuild Wa1 Carbs I Had A Pair Ot The National Meet Last Summer And Sold The Pair For $275 They Were Rebuilt And They Were The Hornet Carbs 2 15/16 Base Not Wasp Or Jet ( Smaller Base Bolts Centers2 11/16 ) I Also Have A Pair Them

Why Not Rebuild Your Carbs If You Need A Pair I Can Most Likely Find You A Hornet Pair 2 15/16 Base To Rebuild Let Me Know

  • Yeah, I think the carbs on my twin h, I picked up at a hudson swap meet, in carlisle two years ago, for like $10 each. These should be carbs you should be able to find for around $20-$50 each, rebuildable. Check eBay, they pop on frequently, look up WA-1, or the like and use 340 marked on the base as to identify what you need. The listing you got there, the prices are way out of line. Make sure you get good kits, some of the kits are not as nice as others. I would have faith that the kits that Paul has are the good ones. You will find that some of the folks that sell carb kits for everything under the sun, the WA-1 kits have ill fitting gaskets.

At those kind of prices, I hope that I never have to replace mine. I did get a couple of rebuild kits from NADA.
  • Rambo, you want 2113s or 968s (I think thats right). We've frequently bought them in pairs with tags in nice rebuildable shape for $10-20 each. (even recently this year). Those prices seem way out of line considering what the complete kits cost.

Sure - I was hoping at those prices to be off-the-shelf-bolt-on-and-run-condition :)
