Can anyone recollect some of the HET National Meets of the mid-seventies to the mid-eighties? I believe some were '77-Indianapolis, '78-somewhere in PA, '79-Dearborn, '80-Youngstown, '87-Cleveland. I could be wrong on some of these. Thanks.

sounds like the information is know by at least one poster, but it will cost you $18, plus shipping.

Sorry I cannot help. If I had the information, I of course would post it here. Thank you to those that have helped super six, so far....

love the post, substantiates so much, that's why it deserved a quote.

I do know that 97 was in Salt Lake City. It was my first National. By the way, if anyone wants me to I could run up and see Glen and get a T Shirt and fill in the blanks?

I was hoping that perhaps the person that know the information might fill in the blanks for the inquiring forum member, rather than offering up a t-shirt for $18 plus shipping. Really, for a forum that passes around a lot of expert information for FREE, it is in bad taste to try to sell something, rather than offer the poster with the question resolve. Obviously, it shows what is most important to this forum member.... (Ahhh the coveted dollar...)

I might just start charging everyone that inquires on this forum with a question, perhaps I will send them a bill for what I consider my insight is worth, of course with a paypal link....

I just hope that if super six orders one, he gets the right size, because he might have to pay the return shipping, if the seller sends him the wrong size.

Wow,as I look at the different years of National meets,I ask myself which one I had the most fun at??:p I found there to be too many, can't even narrow it down to 5 or less!!!! Some meets I've had so much fun as a kid, other meets I remember having fun buying parts or finding something that I had been looking for:D .Then kicking tires 'til all hours of the night. As time goes on,I look back at all the friendship,I feel so lucky to be a part of,and wouldn't trade it for anything!!!

Great comment Clutch guy, wish I would have thought of it! From time to time, when building a project, I have parts to get rid off. I am often torn between offering them on this Forum so my friends can get what they need or placing them on eBay to put them back in circulation rather than take them to the crusher. I have no desire to be a parts broker, but love those who make their parts available to me for my projects. Seems like all of us collectors need each other just like one great big Hudson family.
