Gas Gauge Stuck
Comments
-
The gas gauge has three basic components...the sending unit, the wire that connects the sending unit to the gauge, and the gauge.
A quick check:
Take the wire off the sending unit...the gauge should go to below empty. Next, ground the wire to a good proven ground...the gauge should go to above full. If it does those things, the gauge and the wire are working properly, and the sending unit is the culprit. (It is the most likely culprit).0 -
Just ground the sending unit wire for a moment to see if gauge goes to full. Leave it grounded too long it will damage the gauge. Been there dont that.0
