Thanks for all the info. and the new web sites to check out. I have already joined the HET club and have received 3 issues . A great mag.

The only number I found on the head was 417,power dome

ratio 7 to 1 and hudson.

On the block I found the following numbers 159547

I tried to attach a picture of the car but not sure I did it right. Hope it went through. How do some of the members get their small pictures attached to their threads? I get the car out about every 2 weeks,living in southern NM I don't have to worry about putting it to bed during the winter months.

Maybe someone that has a 40 hudson 6 could check and see what the number is on their block. Thanks again ,this is really a great forum.
