I would think that if you believe for $1800 you could drive a hudson home, you might need a few more weeks in the hobby.
Hey 51hornetA, 1987 called and want's it driver stepdown coupe for $1800 back....0 -
Gotta go with that noted father- son team, H'Kid and H'Dad, on this one- I think it's kinda worth the money (subject to looking at the frame, of course).0

Maybe I'm ougta it guys, but alltho it's a very desirable model there just is'nt much left of it and what is is in terrible condition. I've seen much better for that $$$0

The question isn't whether this one is worth $1,800. The question is could you buy one for $5-6,000 and only have to spend another couple of grand getting it prettied up and on the road? The answer to the second question is: yes. :cool:0

Kid,
I know I can drive it home it has holes in the floor boards and I have strong legs.0 -
looks like he's 250 miles or so from me , this is the second go around on ebay . Ive been debating about making him an offer for it , heck I need another basket case coupe to keep my others company . - really it looks like a better deal than the Hudson -Merc coupe on ebay for $3000 !!!0

If you decide to , you can stop at my house on the way home and I'll half sole your shoes !!!!0 -

today, I find that hard to believe. I much doubt there are any coupes out there for reaosnable money. The exception was the 52 wasp that was on a while back (eBay) that was the best deal for any car all year long.0 -
Well, at least the steering wheel looks pretty good..... from a distance!0

Not a bad price
Looks like nice rockers also. I would bet the frame is good telling by the rockers.
The days of finding a coupe for $5000 that has decent paint and upholstery then putting a couple of thousand into it are over. The $5000 coupe is now $15,000
Believe my father just sold a 54 coupe that is solid needed one new rocker which we supplied. It needed everything and sold for $5000 was Little more complete.0 -

I don't disagree, Russ...I was talking about creating a starting point car that could be driven.0 -
I'm with you Sam, It would have to be a lot more rare than it is to justify bringing it back. But, from a parts point of view. There are some nice usable parts there--but, most likely not $1,800 worth?0
