Heard the first report of Led Zepplin's reunion concert tonight, and one of the songs they played was "Terraplane Blues"!

Comments

  • I heard some guy paid 186K for a pair of tickets...

probably the concert of a lifetime, to see.

    I would love a bootleg!
  • Terraplane blues was recorded by Robert Johnson in then 1930's and is avilable on most any of his albums

Its not on that list. On MSN's description of the concert they mention that Led Zepplin played "Terraplane Blues" before 'Trampled under foot' as a tribute "to a old song writer."Its a long article.

i still got to get this on DVD. I thought that Terraplane Blues seemed too good to be true...

DID you see any of the youtube videos? they sounded pretty good for a bunch of old guys. I thought that Page and Plant each had their strong and weak moments, John Paul Jones seemed to do great, but the real surprise was that kid on drums.... WOW... talk about the apple not falling far from the tree, he would have made his dad proud!
  • At the concert Zeppelin did not play Terraplane Blues but Plant did introduce Trampled Under Foot by explaining that Zep was a blues band and they were inspired by songs such as Terraplane Blues.
