Repro 1954 parking light housing clips

I work at a plant that uses all stainless steel to make water conditioners and water distillers also truck assessories. I am in the process of making clips for the 54 hudson front parklight housings .allmade from ss.including the stud flatwasher lock washer and nut. I will sell the clip or send me the housing to spotweld clip on or spotweld on new ss studs. This would save a lot of these housings that might be still salvageable.

    Thanks jon for the post. At the place where I work ,we have punch

    presses and bending machines. welder. a person that welds studs

    and I do acid washing of welded parts also polishing of stainless steel.

    I hope this idea works because I think their is lots of housings that

    need these ss clips. After NewYear I will getstarted getting the clips

    made. Maybe the 48-53 Hudson are the same. Anybody interested.

    Im in if you do the spot weld and polish. let me know when,where to send my housings, and how much. Excellent idea and service to fix a common problem for us 54 owners !:)
