For sale near Washington DC.
A hot rod project that didn't materialize...does not mention if he still has the original motor and transmission.
$2500 or best offer for the truck...

One of you East Coasters is gonna get a deal! That looks like a sweet project!
The ad mentions that the original eng/trans is gone.0 -

This truck is well known to many of us in the Chesapeake Bay Chapter, as it was formerly owned by one of our elderly members, who created it by splicing a cab and bed (from a derelict Hudson truck) to a coupe. So it's far from authentic, but inasmuch as it has the longer coupe doors, it's really a 'stretch cab' with lots of room inside (there's even room to store the spare tire behind the seat). The bed is cut down (because the cab was extended. It needs a LOT of work (I think it was hand-painted) to be perfect, but might be a fun project.0

Since it's a frankentruck, who would care if it had the original eng/trans anyway, since the car is FAR from being original?0
