Need speedometer cable gear

I don't have any, but I assume you're speaking of the one that goes into the transmission, right? If so, don't you have to be specific on the ratio (since different rearend ratios might have been used in the car)? I could be wrong, but it seemed to me that there were different drive gears available.0

If the car still has its original 4.55 ratio (assuming it's an original OD car), the correct gear has 22 teeth and carries the Stewart-Warner number 448288. If the car has the non-OD 4.09 ratio, the gear has 18 teeth and the number 448286.0

This is going in my '34 and I have no way of knowing how the '34 speedometer will respond. I would like to find the 18 tooth to start with but might try anything.0

I purchased one from a Studebaker from Chuck Collins

reading this, I am wondering what gear I put in my OD when I swapped it out. I bet it has the 4:55 gear in it, and I got the 4:10 in the rear.0
