window frame bearings

Does anyone have a current number for the bearing that is used in connection with the stepdown convertible and/or hollywood side windows? This would be the bearing set in series on the window frame itself.

This is something you make from the Mcmaster-Carr catolog.I took the correct bearing-[outside dimension the same]and found that it was slightly narrower, bought the split pin that fits the hole in the bearing[first shoulder size],then another split pin to press into the center of that pin, pressing the pin in opposite of the other split. This is time consumming, but works like they are factory new. Also the springs for the rollers are availible from Studebaker parts. The spring fits like a 56-60 maybe later Stude 2 door. The Hudson rollers are 5/32nds smaller in diameter as the Stude parts.I have often thought about making the track in which these roll in,slightly wider, window frame a slight bit larger and then you could just use all Stude parts!!Makes since but it's all about the time. Some people have these but aren't going to give them up and I don't blame them!!! When these are restored correctly, the glass is much easier to line up and the window meets the top much nicer!.
