Hudson/Terraplane Tools
Based on the price, I guess these are not rare.

Great little tools and do the job they were designed for very well - ignition sets. And the price is right on both.

For some reason, I thought these would have more "collector" value.0

These kits are rather suspect to me, but perhaps I am just too suspicious of the tools contained therein. When I worked for a former Hudson dealer in the early 1950's, we had a set of those which were original, and I used them often. The son of the deceased owner still has them. The tools in the sets on eBay resemble the original only in the pouches containing the tools. However, perhaps several different sets of tools were offered in those same pouches, who knows? Still, I have my doubts.0

If you don't mind my asking, what state was that dealership in?0 -

Thanks for that peek back into Hudson history. Although I'm sure there were many big time Hudson dealers, I'm always surprised to read about how many smaller dealers there were. The son of a former Hudson dealer up in Wisconsin once told me that his father would take a new Hudson out and call on farmers. He'd take them for some beers and a test drive. He supposedly sold many Hudsons that way.0
