Shifter knob
It seems my shifter knob is self destructing, I wrapped my hand around it tonight and the outer layer came off like and egg shell. I know, I could put an 8 ball on it or a beer tapper handle but dog gone it, I want a shifter knob from a Hash. I was thinking about getting one of the Ivory steering wheels someone else is having made but my wheel is red, go figure.

Harry, you can have any color you want on the recast steering wheel. I showed the ivory because that's the color I need. Price is all the same irregardless of color. If you want me to put your name on the list, shoot me an email. arkiejazz@aol.com.0 -

Bill;
I will as soon as I can get some time off.

Bill Albright took care of my shifter knob situation, thank you Bill. Let me post a warning though, do not unscrew the arm from the column, just take the knob off. When you unscrew the arm from the column bad things happen, the threaded shaft that controls the shifting falls into the column. I was going to have to pull the steering wheel when I tried one last time to line up the shaft and got the arm back on but it was a solid two hours of trying before I got it. The only reason I tried the last time is I was waiting for a couple of 5/16 NF thread bolts to push the wheel off with, if they had showed up I would have taken the wheel off and gone down the column.
