36 Terraplane shocks

What shocks will fit a stock 36 Terraplane, front and back?

    Try Monroe 2037 for the front; Monroe 1041 for the rear. If you strike out there, call Don McKinsey in Indiana, who specializes in shocks and spark plugs for older cars. (317) 785-6284. Pretty reasonable and nice to do business with.

    I bought a set for my 36 Terraplane a few months ago and they were Monroe, front- 32112, rear-31094. Haven't driven it yet, but they look and fit pretty good. The holes in the rubber grommets were a tight fit, but I lubed them up and maybe even ran a drill through the hole to clean them up.
