1929 Essex 5-Pass Coach Parts Car

I located a 5-Passenger Coach that suffered fire damage to the engine compartment, has no roof or glass, no headlights and the interior is gone. It had military wood wheels but is resting on the hubs with the rims inside the car. The rest of it is rusted but largely complete.



I am not in the business of parting cars nor do I want to be. If someone needs body parts: door knobs, fenders, hood, bumpers, stuff like that and wants to partner-up on the purchase, please send me an e-mail offline and we'll see what we can figure out. I'll be passing by the car in the next 30-days and then wont be back that way till Summer.



My interest is in the radiator surround and shutters and the Stewart tank.



Have no idea how bad the engine is other than being told it was "fried"

    I am looking for a better body to replace the 28 essex I have. Mine is a 4 door. I wonder if the 29 will fit? I also have a radiator woth shutters from my 28. Will the fit the '29?

    The body will fit the '28 Chassis O.K., and you can use the '28 radiator and shutters, but will also have to use the '28 hood. The '29 hood and radiator shell were wider at the front. There are differences in the body mouldings at the waist line, and nit-pickers will no doubt point these out, but if it helps you get a car ont he road, so what?
