This car looks to be very nice, but I don't think they'll get the asking price. That being said, it would be hard to restore one that nice for that kind of money.

It may sound steep, but any of you (like myself) that got what they thought was a good deal would find this cheap. I am guessing I have 18,000 in my Special now not counting my labor and it would only be considered a #3 car. I have been cruising my car quite a bit the last few days breaking in the new motor and yesterday the brakes started to act up (pedal getting low) I had already replaced the master, flushed the system and put on SS braided lines. Well the rear wheel cylinder went and now lifted the paint on my freshly painted rim. Guy I bought it from told me he had rebuilt the brakes complete. I just checked the linings through the sight plug and they looked good. Ahhh the $$$$$ just keeps draining from me.
  • I think that price is a little high for a Jet, but what the heck! a 51 Crosley wagon and a 47 sedan sold on barret jackson the other day, one went foe $12,000, the other $16,000. Everybody has their own tastes and I guess bigger bank accounts! "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" (Put skirts on the Jet and they look a lot better!)

The ad does day, "Will Accept Best Offer." I'm also wondering what they consider "all original." I just want the Washington license plates!

If anyone is ever really interested in this car - it's near where I work a couple of days a week...
