My 50 Pacemaker just rolled 87K a few days ago. I haven't driven it much since the Pigeon Forge meet back in October. I passed 86K last Easter, which means I put over one thousand trouble free and very enjoyable miles on the ole Hudson in less than a calender year.

This year I expect to put at least another 1k on it, more if I can drive it Doc's meet.

What was your 2007 mileage tally?

Walt's Garage here. My mileage on our 53 this year, 2007 was only 12,000 miles and now reads 114,000 in 10 years. Hope to put 12,000 more on before the end of the year.

At this rate, you'll never break in the engine. :D
  • All you have to do is ask anyone in this area about how I drive my Hornet. The motor has 114,000 since I rebuilt it and still does not use any oil but the rear main is now starting to drop one or two spots of oil. I have the neoprene seal and I may try to slip the old one out a slide in a new one. Walt.

My 49 has 33K actual miles on it...and it's not the only Hudson I drive. I'll never wear it out.

That is awesome. I hope to have a Hudson daily driver soon, but it won't be the Pacemaker. I hope not to wear it out (or rebuild it) in my lifetime. If things go well, I'll de driving my Hudson truck back under Hudson power by this time next year. My annual mileage for my daily driver is 10-15K, which I think is quite reasonable to keep up with.
