    FYI

If you cant find an original radiator dont be afraid to adapt a similar size radiator into the opening. Go thicker on core is always better for the 8cyl because '36 & '37's do do not cool that well with the narrow grille.

Suggest read few other Posts here that also recommend converting the radiator to the 'newer style' pressure system..

Good luck finding the lower rear panel... I had a body man make me a new one that turned out well... Running boards are around and think repo's are avail

I have an NOS 3 1/2" core for the '36 H8 made by a co. in Ohio.

on 2nd thought, not sure how I'd go about shipping it - it's still in it's original container but that's quite fragile now.

I could bring it to the Western Regional in May if you live in the West.
  • NOS 3 1/2" core ? Is that the core and the tanks? if it is I definately have an interest. Something I can have recored. I have never even seen what one looks like. I have seen some with the tank wrapped all round the core. And I have seen some with upper and lower tanks. I live in Michigan. I used to live out west but its been many years since. What do U want for it?
  • Greyhound Bus will ship the Radiator--You take it to them--Receiver picks up from them. I would cover the fins with some panel board, Then all over with heavy cardboard. BUD

this is a new CORE, not a rad. - you'd have your rad. shop put your old tank on top of the new core.

Please send me an e-mail about what I'd want for it rather than discussing that in this forum - my address: oldhudsons@aol.com
