    Bill,

Its very nice to get something mentioned about Hudson in print today to help communicate Hudson's legacy among this generation, not only for the racing accomplishments, but as a fine middle to luxury class automobile that met its demise for reasons other than quality or workmanship..... Your comments may inspire the interest of a few new Hudson enthusiast. Nice Article, :)

  • The only problem is with more interest I'll never be able to buy a 49, nothing selfish about my motives.

Bill Albright and Jack Miller, between them, have probably generated more publicity and good will towards Hudson than the entire P.R. Department of the HMCC when it was still in business!

    Harry,

If you can't afford the '49, I can send you a nice copy of a 48-49 Group Parts book (when I finish scanning it) - you can look at the pictures and dream!!! :D

  • Alex, it's like I keep saying, the members of HET are all such givers. If owning the owners manual is as close as I can get then I'll have to take you up on that offer.

Actually, I was looking at a beautifully restored 49 Commodore down at Bill's the other day, fresh engine with tri power, great restoration just like you expect at Bill's, just out of my budget, but it let's me know what I'm striving for.
