    Sarah, that was pretty cool, I'm waiting until my purse strings relax a little to get some diamond back radials but this could put some radials on my car until then. Maybe I can convince my grandsons that this will be a lot of fun, the plus side would be their moms would have to deal with the burnt rubber smelling kids and I'll come out smelling like a rose.

    Well by golly, you reaqlly do learn something new everyday ! If you're like me, and have a few unrestored cars kicking around, they're probably sitting on beater tires that will never make it back on the road again, but hold enough air to keep the cars moveable when necessary. I've also noticed on my "collection" that the cars lucky enough to have some old whitewalls on them look much, much better, sitting out there than the ones with ragged old blackwalls or a mix of worn out summer, and winter tires etc. You've shown me a way to "spruce up", the lot with just a little time and a few bucks, Sarah ! ( maybe the Mrs. will even see my treasures in a new light now) :-)
