Looks Like HET Is Listening?
I got my WTN yesterday and I have to say that it never disappoints. I read some of Mike Cherry's (HET Pres) comments and it appears that he (they) are listening? He mentioned they are looking at the HET website topic, on line subscribtions, etc. Could it be they want to move into the modern age? I applaud them for looking into these opportunities.
Also wanted to comment about all the coupes forsale in this edition of the WTN. Hard to tell from the descriptions but some of these looked like some good deals. There is also a "restored" 49 Super Six convert with Commodore trim for sale for $29K. If true, seems like a steal...
and yes, chicks STILL dig me.

If this is a car out of Spring Grove, PA, it has been around, for sale for some time. Look on the forum for more info, and *ask* around, you can get the whole dish on the car. Granted, 29K for this car is a decent deal, when you get down to it, but I think that this car, if it is the one I am thinking of, has been looked at by every interested person on the planet, and passed on, I don't know why.
If I had 29K, and just wanted a stepdown convertible, sure, I would buy it, It just needs some stuff to bring it to the next level. I think my memory serves right, the original eBay sale fell thru because of some rust issues, that were since repaired, and then it was on ebay again, no sale, then I saw it for sale at Doc's and the Local PA Dutch chapter meet, but no sale.
Let me know, I will be glad to post up a few pictures. Hudson stepdown convertibles don't come up for sale often, and usually don't come around for a reasonable price either.0
