A soft mouse pad works just right on the '51's. :) Walt-La
  • Thank you all for your suggestions. As mentioned in my original post, I have tried the foam. I just do not like it.

Another reason I asked for a source is to help keep a Hudson Vendor in business.

I use inner tubes as well, but I never thought you can use a mouse pad ! :D

  • OK...So I will try the mouse pad.....

Will someone provide the dimenisons of the gasket? Mine are too bad to get an accurate size.

Outside dimensions, the dimensions of the hole, and the distance between the outside edge and inside edge.

I have tried the template methode by laying the frame down and tracing around it, but that is not working for me either.

Master parts catalog lists the 51 Hornet as a different gasket (225135), same group number (3.292).

    Thank you for the offer.

That's Hudson! BTW, I see the mouse pad I used is foam rubber, about 3/16 inch thick. May want to try something else if you are avoiding foam... Walt
