    Turn on the light.
  • i guess a photo would help!
  • Not for a Terraplane. To old may be for a Essex.

    Shame on you guys for picking on the fellow. :) All he wanted was an answer - even if he did forget to post a picture or two.

    :D

    Aw gosh, Alex, we was jest funnin' with the lad....
  • It sure is not from anything 1935 or later. Looks like something from the 20's to me, which would make it way too earlier to be a Terraplane. Hudson maybe.

  • thanks guys! i apologize for not posting the photo ! duh.. i am a newby , both to the hudson world and this forum but i have to say you guys are a very special breed! you all make the saying "good help is hard to find!" a lie!

    you all have helped me put a piece of my families history back on the road in no time! my 31 is getting very close to being driveable and reliable again all thanks to you guys!

    i also have 2 model a fords, and a model t roadster truck, but this hudson is a whole new adventure and a much better quality car , i love my Fords they are a lot of fun but this car is so different i cant wait to cruise her!

    i also hope to display her this year at the henry ford old car festival. do any of you do that show? it is open to all makes and all makes come ! it is a whole new spin on a show! all vehicles are encouraged to drive thru greenfield village as much as possible ! it makes a great event . if any of you are interested it is for cars 1932 and back restored or unrestored, no hot rods, and there is a wide variety of events making it the must do weekend !

    it changed our lives we stumbled upon it one year , since then i bought 2 model a's, a model t, 2 highwheel bicycles, 2 trailers to haul it all,a 38 ft diesel pusher motorhome to pull it all!, and built a 24 x 60 x 14, garage ma hall to store it all! now i have added this 31 hudson to the family too! i should have went to Disney World!

    thanks guys!

    Just for the record, it is definitely not any model Essex.

    Hi Bob;

    Yes, I have been to the old car festival. We went every year for about 10 years. The last couple of years we missed it because of other comitments. May try to get there this year. I have a green 28 Essex 4 door sedan. It's a great show.

    Gene.
  • great ! look us up not sure which car is going this year but i will be there!
