53 Hornet with a Hemi
Back in the early 80's I was lame enough to trade a nice 53 Hornet coupe with an early Crysler hemi in it. I traded it for a studebaker pickup with a utility bed to a guy named Billy Engler in Lake County California. He may have moved to the Hat Creek area later but I don't know if he still had the Hudson. This was a real trick car because the Hydromatic had been adapted to the Hemi and it ran with a 6/12 Volt system And 2 4bbl carbs. Really ran good!!!
Has anyone seen the car or the owner???

I remember seeing a dark blue hollywood with a cream colored top that had a hemi in it at the Reno National meet. Don't know who owned it at that time. I believe Larry Kennedy knew the owner.
