Hi all, Where can I find the stainless trim pieces that went on the running boards for my '46 pickup?

Thanks,

Lance

They didn't have any. Anything like that would of been after-market.
  • You Could Get Them From A 1941 Commodore Custom Eight Sedan, They Are 128" Wb. It Will Be Hard To Find Because Those Cars Are Not Easily Found.

    FYI

I found a Mid 80's Olds has a S/S Rocker moulding that fits the sides of Truck running boards. I attached with a few bevel head S/S Screws... The top of the boards I installed Van running board 'chrome strips' still available in different colors at most Auto Body/Paint Supply Stores....
  • IF your just wanting to put some chrome there to dress it up most parts stores have it in rolls of diferant widths/ lengths. Sorta plastic like stuff same as used on later model cars. Bud

Thanks for all the information guys. I thought that there was a strip there as an option. I think I will leave well enough alone.
