Hudnuts Are Around The World
We just got back from a Mediterranean cruise . One day we were playing bingo and this guy won the game and went up to have his card checked, when he turned around I noticed under his jacket a Hudson grill, He is from Washington state and his name is Steve. He has a 54 Hornet with Twin H and is not in the club. I printed out a some info for him and left it at his stateroom, hopefully he will join. He was looking for parts suppliers. When we made port in Turkey I was surprised to have so many comments on my Hudson shirt from local people, made me miss my Hudson and I could not wait to get home to get to work on it!!

I told a work colleague at another branch in Adelaide that I was taking annual leave to go to a swap meet. He said what car did I have. Said a 1936 Hudson Terraplane. He said his familly also had a 36T. I almost fell out of my chair in surprise. He said their car was green, like mine. Apparently his parents sold their Austin to buy a larger car that would fit all their kids. When his youngest brother was born, older children werent allowed in Hospitals. So my friend and his brothers stayed out in the 36T. Somehow the car was knocked out of gear, the handbrake released and the Terra rolled into the garden. Boys being boys no one owned up to it. Regards to all, Barry0

I think in Don Butler's book there was a picture that there was a Hudson distributor in Istanbul. No idea if any cars survive in that region but if anyone there ever saw a Hudson they'd probably remember it.
We are truly lucky to be able to be part of Hudsoning and the community of people who know and love the cars around the world. I know how you feel about wanting to go straight back home and work on em.0
