Bud, I'm not sure how an Oakland hubcap would work as an ignition switch but that's the item that matches the Ebay number you gave! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320129071113&ru=http://motors.search.ebay.com:80/320129071113_W0QQfromZR40QQfviZ1
A much more direct way to get folks to a particular auction, is just to copy that gobbledy-gook at the top of the page in the little white rectangle, and to post it here. (That's what I did, in the red type, above). It takes people right to the auction. All you have to do is put your cursor over that number at the top of the auction page (it's called the URL), left-click the mouse til the number is completely highlighted (you can also hold the left button down and slide the mouse to gradually turn the whole line blue). Then (without moving the mouse), right-click. A little box opens up. Now, place your cursor over the word COPY in the box, and left-click once. Your computer now "remembers" this number, for future reference.
Now go back to the Forum, type in your message, place the cursor anywhere within the message box and right-click. When the little box opens, place cursor over PASTE, and left-click. And there you are!
Takes about as much time to do as starting a Hudson (well, MY Hudson, anyway, LOL!) and it's really a timesaver because you can copy a whole bunch of stuff without even typing!
Thought I'd pass this along. We Hudson guys need to share our tech tips with one another, right?0 -

Whoopee! Good for you, Bud!
Hey, I think they refer to that as "universal", so it probably isn't a Hudson (though it might manage to fit some of them).
If someone has an old one but it's no longer working, they can be repaired. For example, the wire within my 1937's electrolock cable, shorted out on the jacket, producing a lot of smoke and a great deal of heat. Robbie Williams (our '37 guru) rebuilt it and it's good-to-go for another 70 years, now!0
