movie car

My wife insisted I watch a movie last night, a "tearjerker" but quite good, with Jim Garner, titled "The Notebook" & in many main parts of the latter part of the movie the young woman is driving a very nice looking '46 S6 cp. It's a period piece set in N. C. (don't know if actually shot there tho).

Cp. has the 2 tone blue paint job & as usual, LOL, exterior door handle "sag".

Was wondering if the car belongs to an HETer?

    It is indeed long time Dixie CHapter member Roy's car in the movie. Roy lives in Summerville, SC, near Charleston. Come to the 2009 Eastern Regional in Savannah and you'll likely see it!
