Iam trying to find a supply of door latch springs for my 31 coupe I have had the handles etc rechromed and set them up in the weekend and they were sagging down so I presume that is what the problem is, can these be retensioned, interested in thoughts

    I Made One For My 46 2 Dr Sedan Using A Spring Of The Same Dia.

    I Cut Out A Coil And Bent The Ends To The Right Configuration.

    Works Fine Been In For 20 Years.

    thanks, Hudsonbrother1, i seen some on ebay but they say they are 4 a 32, does anyone know if there is a difference

    Hi essexcoupe 3131, I have extra door springs for 31 Hudsons. I would be happy to furnish two for you if you haven't found them yet. I will double check but think they are the same.

    Hi Del, I would think they would be the same , I beleive that the springs are what keeps the handles nice and staight, nothing looks worse than seeing them sloping down, tell me what you want and i will send you the money
