Had you placed a want ad in the WTN? Remember, we have maybe a couple hundreds of "regulars" here, but there are 3500 readers of the WTN!0

Andy - I'll be honest with you, for every 10 guys wanting parts for a '33 Terraplane, there might be 1 willing to sell anything.
Those you might try are Tom Pett in Ill. & Lorain Reese in Ohio. There was another bunch of parts that was "up for grabs" by Tom Browing in Idaho but I'm not exactly sure what happened with them as Ivan Z. bought a '33 T from him but I'm not sure if Ivan got the parts too or Tom kept them. You might try Brintnall in Mass. as I know he's restoring a conv. cp. like mine & bought a parts car & or some parts last year I believe.
I have some spare parts, but none of the big items you've mentioned, but to be honest am keeping them as "trading material" for a few things that I need & won't part with extras until my restoration is complete.
You say you need a radiator - do you have a T8 or T6 as the 8 radiator is unique with a V front & VERY hard to find.0 -
1933 is a low production model year too.... but try not to get too discouraged.0
-
The car you see in the upper left avator is a 33 Terp 8 coupe I have had for 43 years and I can tell you parts are hard to find. You might try Bill Jennings in Farmville, Va. He has several 1933 Terraplanes. There is a fellow in Sayre, Pa. that makes windshield frames. He advertises in Hemmings.0
-
I've been trying to find a windshield frame for my 34 Terraplane Coupe for over a year. I subscribe to Hemmings. Do you know what he advertises under. I'm also looking for some running boards!0
-
Would someone tell me how to put a pic by your "name" in here, please?0
-
As you can now see I solved my own problem, LOL!
You can see my partially restored '33 T8 conv. cp. too - all body & paint done, engine rebuilt, dash & instruments installed with dash regrained.
Radiator rebuilt & I'm now in the process of installing a YnZ wiring harness. At this moment it's down at Al Saffrahn's for him to do the brakes + a few other things for me.
This is a "Deluxe" model, made from Aug. of '33 'til the end of the year. They have as std. equip. dual taillights, 2 ashtrays in the dash, exterior chrome horns, and a radio. Mine has dual sidemounts.
Took me many years to find one of these that hadn't been ruined or rusted. I got it from car racer, auto aficionado, & famed L. A. dealer (& before WW 2 a Hudson dealer), Bob Estes. Bob at one time had 4 '32 - '33 E-Ts in his collection, but that's another story.0 -

Not sure what his company is called, but I do know that as I remember he is into mopar windshield frames. Other than that , keep looking.0 -
The company in PA that makes W/Shield frames is N C Industries. I had them make the side window frames for my 33TCv. They came out great , but it took a year to get them. I know they have the pattern for the 33T Cp/Sdn w/shield frame. I have a w/shield frame that was plated last year, but it has blistered already. Wasted money having that done. Go new and it will last.

We have a guy down under ( Bob Ballintyne) that makes any frame you want using model A extrusion, you just supply a templete and that could be on cardboard even, I have had 1 made to a template that my previous panell beater supplied and of course its too narrow by 3/4" so I am getting another 1 made to suit, I have just made a hinge to go on top of the frame itself. The top part of the hinge that screws to the window bulkhead is fine, I had to mill about 1/4 off the extrusion to match the original thickness of the Essex, I was very happy with the final product, it even came with the seals all for $500-00 nz approx $400 us not to bad when you cant aquire them0 -

They do occasionally have some good stuff come along, but be carefull not to give your e-mail address if you post in the looking for parts section. I gave mine about a year ago and have been getting tons of spam mail ever since!0 -
I just surf there off and on to see what is floating around, cant get over after 25 years how hard 31 stuff is to find. so I dont envy you and your task Sometimes it seems to be cheaper to buy a whole car to strip down. If I do another car its going to be totally complete or I know where the parts are sitting
I dont know how different the rear guards on a 31 are to a 33 but there is a place that makes fibre glass guards and the gas tank covers for 31 you never know if he does other Essex -Hudson stuff, theres a thread on the rod side

The windshield frame company is "N/C Industries“

They did a windshield frame for a 34T Coupe for me using my old frame as a template ...I think they list as 34 Hudson sedan - all the same, right? It took some time and was around $400-some chromed, as I recall.
The only other thing about the frames are that the Hudson factory version (such as my template) has screw holes in it that you will not necessarily use (depending on wipers, etc.) - I just stuck chrome screws in the ones I did not use. Dennis M. Holck0 -
Is this any good to you

Iam not sure what year 33-36?0 -
I just received a quote from them and the current price for the 34 frame is $550 bare metal and an additional $200 for chrome. 6 to 8 week turnaround if chromed; in stock for bare metal. Walt0
