Need Good Set of Twin-H Aircleaners
Need an excellent set of Hornet Twin-H aircleaners- Rust free and dentless. Can be oil bath or screen filter. They will be refinished so paint condition is unimportant. Please e-mail me at hetnptelcel@aol.com (drop the het), or you can PM me. thx

Good Luck with this Neils. I've been looking for a while and have yet to come across even a reasonable pair . . . still looking. It seems the last couple of years has really made a difference in the air cleaners, for some reason.0

I think alot of the good ones have been cherry picked. Now we are going to have to start repairing dented units. It is too bad as I had the opportunity to buy about 30 used ones when I bought my two project Hornet Coupes. I didn't have time to go thru all the parts and negotiate. Good news is I did get the two coupes.0

Wait till you try and straighten out the dents or weld up a crack in the bottom of one of those things! The big canister part of those things is made out of metal about as thick as a soda can!!! Don't know why they made um' that thin but it's a pain to work with.0

For those who have the damaged and dented Twin H air cleaners... you have an option, a good TIN MAN. As bentmetal's post says... "The big canister part of those things is made out of metal about as thick as a soda can!!!" This canister can be replaced with thicker metal. Folks who make metal ducts for air movement manufacture all shapes of ducts and have the proper tools to quickly replace the dented sections of Twin H air cleaners. Now this does not mean the task can be quickly scheduled or will be cheap... my TIN MAN friend is pretty busy most of the time. He did tell me to visit the fireplace and stove pipe section of our local hardware as the pieces needed for repairs can usually be found there.
Just some thoughts on how to view a beat up Twin H air cleaner as a candidate for repair and reuse.0
