nice job, I like these a lot better when they retain the B pillar, especially when they slant the pillar. Also, not digging the grille treatment, but it is different, and as said before, stepdown custom grilles are tough to figure out. Other than that, you got a lot of work in that one, geez, chopping a hudson cannot be the easiest thing to do. All in all, it is pretty bada$$.0

I'm not criticizing here, just making an observation. I wonder if maybe we get so used to seeing the short body seams that we forget about them. I know it's just a detail, but having done this much bodywork, I might have also filled the front fender extension seams. Ditto the four inch rear valance (above rear bumper and below trunk lid) seams. Also, the grill does seem a little fussy. Otherwise, it's gorgeous!0

I think we used to refer to something like this as a Boss Ride. It was a long time ago, I confess and yes, it looks a lot better than a Mercury which I considered the Holy Grail of Boss rides when I was 16.

PS--I was driving a clapped-out '49 Super Six with a 308 with Twin-H and blowing Fords and Chevys off the streets. The car cost $50 and the engine was like $150 from Warshawsky's in Chicago. My Old Man and I put the new engine in and away I went.
It was a total rustbucket which made it even more difficult for the Ford and Chevy guys to stomach. You could put your finger through the rear fenders if you wanted to. But, that old girl would really go AND, the back seat was like being in someone's living room. SOOOOOOOO roomy. Ah, sweet mystery of life---fuzzy pink sweaters, plaid A-line skirts, saddle shoes and bobby sox.0 -
when you look at the 3rd row of pics the one one the left you wonder what holds the roof up. very nice0
