From the photo showing the cracked paint on the area around the top seam I'd say it has it's original paint as that became common as they didn't have good materials then to bond paint/primer over soldering used by the factory at certain seams.

The most crucial sign of a really original car, I feel, is the interior upholstery of which there are NO photos. In almost all cases it is impossible to get exact matches for the uph. Hudson used. The dash looks nice.

Seems to be pretty original to me but the seller could have included a lot more pictures to confirm that. I read the description. Sounds like his Desoto dealership would be an interesting plaace to visit if I was ever going through Clinton, MO.

It did appear to me that there might have been some holes patched in the floorboard areas but I agree - would like to see more pictures, interior, trunk, motor...

yeah it did occur to me when I saw that pic on the listing. Can't say I'm surprised even on an original car of that vintage. Could've been patched in the '60's heheheh The overbuild the whole car...then they get to the floorpans and said "eh lets just use some thin sheetmetal... save some weight.

By the one photgraph of the front seat, it appears to be the original Super 6 upholstery.
